Welcome to the Community Adult Literacy Foundation (Inc.)

The Community Adult Literacy Foundation is made up of professionally trained volunteer coordinators from the Read Write Now! organisation and community members with relevant experience. All are committed to the improvement of adult literacy in Western Australia.

The Community Adult Literacy Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation and all members volunteer their time to achieve the philosophy and aims of the Foundation.

The Foundation's Philosophy

We believe that adults who would like to improve their literacy skills should be able to access free tuition if they so desire.

This service is free of charge and is offered by volunteer tutors who work on a one-to-one basis. The service is designed primarily for basic adult literacy needs and welcomes all adults regardless of their socio-economic status, age, religion, educational background, disability or ethnicity.

The Foundation's Aim

The Community Adult Literacy Foundation aims to foster adult literacy in the community by supporting the Read Write Now! organisation. Read Write Now! works in partnership with adults who want to improve their literacy skills
